O cantor e ator Jered Leto foi acusado de crimes sexuais por quatro mulheres. Os abusos foram delatados no documentário “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret”, lançado pela BBC nesta quarta feira (29).
Uma das mulheres afirma ter sofrido abuso sexual no banheiro de um motel quando tinha 17 anos. Outra relata que o artista a ameaçou de abuso sexual quando ela tinha 19 anos e havia ficado inesperadamente sozinha com ele em um quarto de hotel.
Uma terceira alega que o crime aconteceu quando tinha 17 anos, abaixo da idade de consentimento no estado da Califórnia, nos Estados Unidos, algo que foi desdenhado pelo famoso.
A quarta afirma ter sido alvo de aliciamento aos 16 anos, com ligações telefônicas de conteúdo sexual explícito e insistentes propostas para manter relações sexuais.
As vítimas que participaram do documentário afirmam que os casos aconteceram entre 2002 e 2016, quando Jared Leto tinha entre 30 e 40 anos. A BBC afirma na produção que teve acesso a provas que apoiam as denúncias das mulheres, como um acordo de confidencialidade que foi enviado a uma delas depois da situação de abuso.
O documentário também conta com a participação de ex-parceiros musicais de Leto na banda Thirty Seconds to Mars. Eles afirmam que se sentiam desconfortáveis com a forma que o vocalista interagia com as fãs adolescentes. Algumas delas eram convidadas para o camarim, para os bastidores e para a casa onde gravavam músicas.
O artista se pronunciou sobre as denúncias, afirmando que as acusações são “completamente falsas”.
