O Video Music Awards (VMA) anunciou, nesta terça-feira, os indicados de 2026. Madonna lidera as indicações, tendo seu nome como candidato em onze categorias. A última vez que a artista liderou as indicações dessa forma foi em 1998, quando venceu a categoria de Vídeo do Ano com “Ray of Light”. Depois dela, vem a cantora Taylor Swift, com nove indicações.

Além delas, Sabrina Carpenter e Ariana Grande também são destaques na lista. A premiação é dividida em 19 categorias, que podem envolver a canção, o videoclipe ou a edição das obras. Na categoria Melhor Latino, a brasileira Anitta aparece indicada ao lado de Shakira, pela colaboração “Choka Choka”.
A premiação ocorre no dia 27 de setembro, em Los Angeles. A transmissão fica por conta da CBS, MTV e do streaming, Paramount+, a partir das 20h30 (horário de Brasília).
