Na última quarta-feira (22), estreiou na Netflix, Elize: Sombras de uma Mulher, filme biográfico sobre Elize Matsunaga, conhecida pelo assassinato de seu marido, o empresário Marcos Matsunaga, em 2012. Baseado na história verídica, o filme explora a trajetória do casal, marcada por conflitos emocionais e relações de poder, que levaram ao crime bárbaro que chocou o país.

‘Elize: Sombras de uma uma Mulher’ acompanha a trajetória de Elize (Lorena Comparato) desde sua origem humilde no Paraná, seguindo o caminho da prostituição, até conhecer Marcos (Henrique Kimura), com quem viveu um relacionamento marcado por conflitos, segredos e uma dinâmica de poder opressiva, que culminaram em um dos crimes mais famosos do país.
Sob o roteiro de Mariana Torres e Raphael Montes (Bom Dia, Verônica), a produção joga luz sobre a perspectiva de Elize sobre o assassinato, de forma mais íntima e realista, tendo o desafio de reconstruir um crime tão bárbaro, enquanto explora as múltiplas camadas de Elize Matsunaga durante o relacionamento com Marcos Matsunaga. “Ela é uma pessoa, como todos nós, muito complexa e muita gente não entende o por que ela fez e como ela fez. Quis deixar que as pessoas tirassem suas conclusões ao assistir o filme”, contou o diretor Felipe Vellas.
