Obras da Broadway, “Schmigadoon!” e “The Lost Boy”, lideram indicações ao Tony Awards 2026

As obras “Schmigadoon!” e “The Lost Boys”, são musicais que estrearam há pouco tempo na Broadway e lideram o número de indicações com 12 cada uma.

“Schmigadoon” é uma adaptação da série de comédia musical da Apple TV que conta a história de um casal em crise que, ao embarcar em um mochilão, fica preso em uma cidade mágica onde todos agem como em um musical dos anos 40. Para escapar, eles precisam encontrar o “amor verdadeiro”. Já “The Lost Boys” é baseada no filme de vampiros de 1987.

Algumas de suas concorrentes em Melhor Musical Novo, são “Titaníque”, uma paródia do filme “Titanic” com a participação de Celine Dion, e “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)”,uma comédia romântica original.

A cerimônia de premiação acontece no dia 7 de junho, no Radio City Music Hall, em Nova Iorque. Entre os indicados estão também alguns grandes nomes do cinema como John Lithgow, Daniel Radcliffe, Rose Byrne e Lesley Manville.
